After completing the legal secretary program at Kirkwood in 1992, I worked for 20 years as a legal secretary at a personal injury law firm in Cedar Rapids. I then spent 4 years working at a non-profit before returning to the legal world to work at Ann Brown Legal.
I love my job because I feel like we make a difference in the lives of our clients and we are making a difference in this community. We know each of our cases is important and we always treat our clients the way we would want to be treated.
My husband and I both grew up in Cedar Rapids and are enjoying raising our two boys in this community.

After I obtained my MBA, I spent 22 years as a financial analyst at the largest corporation in Cedar Rapids. When I retired, I knew I wanted to use my financial skills to help people. Working at Ann Brown Legal allows me to do that. We represent real people with real problems and our success is measured by how much we help our clients.
In addition to my work at the firm, I also spend a large amount of time volunteering at organizations that help everyday people navigate complicated financial and insurance issues. I love my job and volunteering but my best times are spent watching my grand-kids grow up.
